And Nicholas Sparks is great too. I like his books because they are easy reads - you can get through them in one sleepless night because they are so quick.

I'm a little late in commenting, but I'm totally with you on the Harry Potter stuff. I avoided reading those for SO LONG. But this year, just a few months ago in fact, my fiancee got me into them. We're in a Star Wars costume group and once you get into one type of costume, you're not going to stick to just that so we've now moved into HP. I have a ravenclaw outfit and he has a slytherin quidditch one.

I just started reading the books before xmas and got through one right away and now I'm on to the next. I started with Goblet of Fire (I'll read the other three later, right now I want to know what happens!) I was hoping the writing would suck and she would be highly overrated, but alas...
I think it's the jealous writer in me. :) I wish I could have that success.Jadehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15464378420426668099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11534968.post-1128555081503266672005-10-05T23:31:00.000+00:002005-10-05T23:31:00.000+00:00Hey, Rach! Now if I only had time to read them! :)

Thanks for your comment on my site. Yes, the stress level is high right now, but I think I'm putting most of it on myself. I need to stop thinking that I have to be the best teacher ever, and just be the best that I can be.

I would love to set up a blog for my classes. In fact, I attended a writing project this summer where I told everyone about blogging and how valuable it could be in the classroom. But it looks like my school system is not going to let me do it. I can set up a blog where I post homework assignments, but they think letting kids post literary responses or their own original writing is too dangerous. I'll try to convince them that I can make a blog fairly private, but I don't have high hopes. The geniuses behind education amaze me sometimes. :)

Hope all is well. Take care and keep reading!Smitheehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00606146326750329958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11534968.post-1128524963292861322005-10-05T15:09:00.000+00:002005-10-05T15:09:00.000+00:00Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy rocks!
